Re: chassis certification
Hi,
I am the IHRA Tech that will be at Prescott Raceway on the 11 Aug.
If anyone has any questions please email me at dcovey@hot.rr.com I would tell you to call but I usually can't hear my phone during the day and email is easier. I will call you back though if you send your phone number.
In answer to the question about the different specs. Yes, the fee listed is for any spec. I have a hard copy of the most common of them, plus others in my laptop.
Jackie was close on the ET's.
Cars running 6.00 and quicker 1/8th mile (9.00 1/4 mile) or any car runniing 150 mph or faster require a certification. 7.50 /4.50 ETs and slower is considered a Sportsman certification. Cost is 100.00 and is good for 3 years. 7.49 and quicker is a Professional certification, cost is 125.00 and it is good for 2 years.
Hope this helps.
Last bit of info. There will NOT be chassis certifications available at the Bracket Finals so they need to be done now. Hope to see everyone that needs a certification there.
Thanks
